Privacy Policy

Craft Dept LLC is a California limited liability company. We make apps and run craftdept.com. You can reach us at hi@craftdept.com or 2108 N St STE 16483, Sacramento, CA 95816.

This policy covers craftdept.com and every app we publish. Each app also has its own App Privacy Details page on this site. That page lists exactly what the app uses and who it shares data with. Together, this policy and the app’s page make up that app’s privacy policy. If they differ, the app’s page applies to that app.

Unless an app’s page says otherwise:

• Your data stays on your device.
• You don’t need an account.
• We don’t show ads.
• We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
• Our apps don’t use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We don’t sell or share your personal information, as “sell” and “share” are defined under California law.

• When you contact us. If you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.
• When you ask to be notified. If you email us to hear about a launch, we keep your email address so we can tell you when it’s out. Ask us anytime to remove it.
• When you visit craftdept.com. Our host, Vercel, automatically logs basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies and shows us only aggregated numbers, not who you are.
• When you use an app.Each app’s page lists what it uses, why, and whether any of it leaves your device.

We use information only to provide and improve our products, respond to you, keep our services secure, and meet legal obligations. We don’t use it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to run our business: Vercel for website hosting and analytics, and Google Workspace for email. Some apps also use third-party services, such as an AI or weather service. Each app’s page names those services, what they receive, and why. Service providers may use your data only to provide their service.

Most app data is stored only on your device. If an app syncs through iCloud, that data is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple’s privacy policy, and we can’t access it. Deleting an app deletes its data from your device.

We keep support emails and launch-notification addresses only as long as we need them for those purposes, then delete them. Each app’s page lists how long any off-device data is kept.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing hi@craftdept.com. We’ll respond within 30 days. You can turn off app permissions, such as camera, photos or location, anytime in iOS Settings.

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share personal information. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights. Because we don’t track you across other sites, we don’t respond differently to Do Not Track signals.

Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We’re based in the United States. Information we or our service providers handle may be processed in the United States.

If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. For material changes, we’ll also give notice on this page or in the affected app.
